How Is It Being Married?


Not because I'm forever answering that question since I got married last month but I finally got the inspiration to write again. I love my new blog theme because it describes what I really feel now. They say marriage is settling down and yes I have finally settled down and welcomed God's gift of marriage. It is more of a retreat for me. Retreat from the dog and cat chase after being single for 31 years! It's a retreat away from the world of searching because I have finally come home with my husband John.

That is exactly how I describe it when coming into God's presence; it is "my secret place". The world cannot take that away from me- it is personal, yet dynamic and growing. It’s far from the ways and cares of this world where I’m hidden in God’s everlasting arms of love and security

I am excited how God will both mature and grow us. To describe how I feel, I may start again with poem writing.

How I miss writing so I'll write occasionally, because I'm on a retreat :)

Everything's New

I've been ignoring my blog for a month now because I have more important things to do than bogging. That is dealing with stuff that is pertinent to my spiritual growth and my being complete. I can say now that I am more complete, at least I feel complete. And this is not because I have friends and family who loves me but because I have learned the greatest lesson. My worth is found in him. I know of this fact that my identity, my significance and value lies in God but I was caught up with too many things. Let's just say I am serving the king but I don't know the king or drifting away from the king.
