Our lives are like tattoos showing what we really believe.

I don’t know what’s with tattoo nowadays that many people are getting to be fanatics of body tattoo art. It is now very acceptable to place a tattoo because its defined as “self expression” or watchamacallit “for the sake of art”. Honestly, I find it beautiful specially after watching Miami Ink and LA Ink on Cable TV. But I still want to be able to donate blood to those in need so I choose not to have a tattoo. Last week, I had the chance to have henna painted on my ankle and it was beautiful. I just want to share it. My husband and I went to Bulacan 8 Waves to swim and there was a booth that offers henna tattoo for just less than 200 bucks. It’s an opportunity for me to exercise specially now that I’m pregnant; swimming is the best form of exercise for my condition. After almost whole day of swimming, we decided to have henna painted on our bodies and we had fun admiring the painting. So this is art?
