I Am Confident of This

I have been meaning to put this into a song and finally last sunday, God gave me the tune and I finished my third song. This one is pretty upbeat and has the influence of Fatima Rainey's song "hey". I love the lyrics and the style. This one was taken from Psalms 27 where David wrote that he is still confident that he will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living and therefore he resolved to be strong and take heart and wait on the Lord. Sometimes I feel impatient as to when all his promises will come true in my life and I kindda get challenged in my faith but in the end I decide to trust God's timing because he knows what he is doing. He is sovereign, He created me, He knows what is best for me. And this is my assurance, God's word, that i can put my confidence on the fact that I will see his goodness, not when I'm dead but in my lifetime i will experience and taste it. All I need is to wait on Him..not on the person, but on God. Soon all my songs will be sung and I'm seting my eyes on the possibility of compiling it all in an album.

I've been ignoring my blog for a month now because I have more important things to do than bogging. That is dealing with stuff that is pertinent to my spiritual growth and my being complete. I can say now that I am more complete, at least I feel complete. And this is not because I have friends and family who loves me but because I have learned the greatest lesson. My worth is found in him. I know of this fact that my identity, my significance and value lies in God but I was caught up with too many things. Let's just say I am serving the king but I don't know the king or drifting away from the king. Psalm 23 (For the Work Place) The Lord is my real boss, and I shall not want.He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me. He gently reminds me to pray and do all things without murmuring andcomplaining. He reminds me that he is my source and not my job. He restores my sanity everyday and guides my decisions that I mighthonor him in all that I do. Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system crashes,unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping co-workers,discriminating supervisors and an aging body that doesn't cooperateevery morning, I still will not stop--- for He is with me! His presence,His peace, and His power will see me through. He raises me up, even when they fail to promote me. He claims me as His own, even when the company threatens to let me go. His Faithfulness and love is better than any bonus check.His retirement plan beats every 401k there is!
