Crunch time at work, Marco's love story, nesting week again...

I’m getting crunched at worked yet again. I have been working
sixteen hours for two weeks.

I’m unable to relax and I can’t afford to be lax since I am
mentoring veteran agents and supervisors as well. God has been gracious to give
me strength. My team always tops the nesting class for two weeks now. Two more
weeks and two more classes and I am free.

Creating poems is my only downtime which usually happens
when I’m able to sit alone in my station after 16 hours. The first 8 hours I am
floor walking, too much that when someone touches me they get electrocuted
because of the static I’ve developed from walking the carpet.

But it was all worth it. Seeing my last two classes top the
class and not only that, but the bond and relationships we have developed with
them and the supervisors proved to be all God’s work.

We honored each other as usual at the end of the week during
graduation and I saw how that activity melted all their hearts and even my
mentors. This is my reward, to see all of them appreciate each other and honor
one another. For me this is heaven on earth, when there is respect and good
relationships.

Two more weeks Lord and I really pray for supernatural grace
and strength for me and my mentors.

My galle set of
friends (four of us actually)- decided to fast for our future spouses and I
have received some revelation just today. Honestly, I don’t think its good news
for me but at least it was revealed to me. Prior to that, we went to Bagaberde
Roxas to watch Jam’s group (Wiseguys) one of three last performances after 14
years of being together. I enjoyed the OPM songs and their first single, “The
First Time”. The song sounds familiar and quite sentimental that it caught my
attention.

We didn’t stay for the second set to watch Freestyle. It’s
the same Beyonce Knowles song I’ve been hearing on the airwaves. Besides, it
was the first time, Elline, JC, Myla and I can really spend time and pray for
more important things – our future partners.

Just today, my brothers, my mom and I dined and met my
youngest brother’s fiancée. They met in Spain
where my brother stayed for two months. Even before meeting her, I already had
peace because I know my brother wouldn’t decide on something he didn’t prayed
over and over. My youngest brother Marco I should say is the sweetest among my
brothers. He’s affectionate and can relate to anyone. The last thing in our
mind is for him to be the first to get married. But hearing their love story
and God’s hands was just so inspiring.

You really can’t put God in a box. God moves in mysterious
and unconventional ways. He is wise and does things outside our expectations.
Jenny is a nurse in Spain.
She is 5 years older than Marco and she has kept herself pure and devoted to
God at 34 years old. I’m proud of the fact that Marco chose a virtuous woman.
If you know all my brothers, Marco is the chick boy amongst them. He is sweet,
charming, smart and loveable that is why a lot of attractive girls like him.
But God bridged their distance. Even if Marco has met a lot of women whenever
he travels, (Myanmar Afghanistan, Singapore,
Dubai, Bangkok,
France
and Spain)
yet he only felt marriage for this woman. They never touched nor were in a relationship;
they just saw each other and have become friends for two months. Marco only realized that the girl is for him
when he returned home this year. He started the pursuit and only realized
lately that God wants him to take it to a different level. God was working in
the heart of the girl too because she has dreamt of Marco as her husband before
Marco left for Spain
but she kept it to herself. She waited for the right time for Marco to realize
how much he misses her.

Anyways, so goes their love story and no one would ever
think it would happen this way. What is funny is that she is Ilocano and
totally opposite of his usual physical preference. I kidded Marco and reminded
him of how he made fun of my ex fiancée who is also Ilocano. Now, he is getting
a dose of his own medicine.

This is really a big event for our family because we have
been praying for our future partners up until this time. All 5 of us are very
much still single and we want God’s best for us. This is a big breakthrough for all of us and finally
my mom would stop prodding me to get married at least for a season because she would
enjoy this new phase and new change.

We prayed for the two of them to be blessed after which, my
mom and I prayed once again for my heart and for my own turn.
