Being a MALE is a matter of birth, being a MAN is a matter ofchoice.
"The man is the leader, while a woman is a responder.
Women look for men who are LEADER.
The MAN is the initiator.
Man wants to pursue.
Be the right man & you will marry the right kind of woman.
As MAN, you should posses Leadership qualities.

8 LEADERSHIP QUALITIES OF MAN
1. A leader who is CHRIST - CENTERED

• A man of courage, loves the Lord & a man of faith.
• Philippians 1:21 " For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
• "Self-centered vs Christ Centered
• Insecure vs SecureProud
• Humble Wants to impress others vs Does not need to impress others
• Wants to be served vs Wants to serve
• Love things vs Loves GOD
• A man's view of God will affect his decisions in life.

2. A leader with INTEGRITY

• integrity is all about character
• when character is lost, all is lost.
• Reputation is what people see in us.
• Character is what GOD sees in us.
• Test of integrity can be seen in WORDS, FINANCE, and PRIVATE LIFE

3. A leader who assumes RESPONSIBILITY

• Romans 14:12 "So then, each of us will give account of himself to GOD."
• The 3 enemies of responsible living:

rights mentality : " I demand my rights! "

victim mentality: " It's not my fault."

Entitlement mentality: " I deserve it."

• A man of responsibility does not blame others for the failures of life.
• I admire men who sees problems as opportunities and hears from God what he has to do with them (mine)

4. A leader who is PROACTIVE

• Takes initiative ( the first sin of Adam was his silence, I love men who initiate events, gatherings rather than waiting on the background. There's too many men sitting around, men ought to take the lead)
• not passive
• diligent Proverbs 6:6-8 " Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and bewise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores itsprovisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest."

5. A leader who is a GOOD STEWARD

• Work all you can
• Earn
• Give
• Mindset of not an owner, but MANAGER.
• Every right implies a responsibility.
• Every opportunity, an obligation
• And every possession, a duty.1 Timothy 5:8 "If anyone does not provide for his relatives, andespecially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worsethan an unbeliever. "
• develop yourself, your God-given talent
• don't stop growing and learning

6. A leader who is DISCIPLINED

• Whatsoever we beg of God, let us also work for it.
• Duty or delight? - (men who still manages to smile after the end of a long day are commendable)
• Test of discipline :

1. time

2. food

3. money

4. computer games

5. television

• Time is life, there is no way to recover lost time.

7. A leader characterized by KINDNESS

• gentle, considerate, encouraging ( a man is no man if he is not a gentleman. Most men think being rude means masculine and leadership. God is strong and yet loving and kind. Kindness shows more strength)
• the opposite of the above is rude, temperamental, shouting
• "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see."
• " I expect to pass through this world once; any good thing that I can do,or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now,let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall never pass this way again. " -Stephan Grellet
• put on a heart of compassion, kindness, and humility. ( Colossians 3:12 Therefore as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentlenessand patience." )

8. A leader who has a VISION

• a task without a vision is drudgeryProverbs 29:18 " Where there is no revelation, the people cast offrestraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.
• "A man with a VISION knows where he is going because he knows where God is leading him.
