I want the Pearl but God will give me the Diamond- Wait for the Best!

Lately I am faced with different issues of people almost picking the second best. It's true that the enemy of BEST is GOOD. Too many times we would think that something is good enough for us but God has planned what is best and that is what I want. Far be it from me to choose for myself again nor orchestrate events on my own. I want God to pen my lovestory. "The right person at the right time is the wrong person just as much as the wrong person at the right time is the wrong person".

As a member of the NBSB (no boyfriend since birth) group, I have always wondered when it will be my time to have a relationship. Of course, asking for the right guy will be a tremendous feat for God to reveal whom he has planned for me at the earliest time. Asking for traits will defeat the purpose of God matching me with the perfect person and writing my love story. What’s hard to accept is that, I never wanted the Pearl. I’ve always wanted the Diamond and waiting for it has been the most excruciating wait I have ever been on. I’ve been waiting for it for the longest time and God seems to be on a vacation from writing my story. Ü I am not as patient as you think I am. I know God has something in store for me, something better than what I hope it would be.
You know, God works in very mysterious ways. I kid you not. He really does. I have waited for 8 years to have a car. I’m not kidding, 8 years. The first car I ever wanted was a Volkswagon Polo Classic colored Green. I saw that car parked on the street everyday I go home from school. I have been wishing for that. I asked God for that car. I got my wish late 2002. I told my uncle that I wanted to buy a car for myself and asked if he would support me by financing it first. He said yes and he even bought the car for me. Guess what. It’s Green, VW Polo Classic, and plate #’s digit is the one I’ve always been praying for, 8. I got what I want, exactly what I wanted. Patience paid off, but there’s a trade off. I’m not used to driving stick shift. Hahahaha… I had to use my mom’s car because it’s automatic and I was only able to drive my car for 30mins the whole time it was with me. In the end, I sold the car and bought a Digicam instead. Ü
All I have to say now is “Be Patient”. God will work his wonders. Ü There’s no need to ask God for the Pearl or the Sapphire or the Ruby. God will definitely give you the Diamond that would be fit for you. Ü
