After ten years of not actively blogging but actually living my life, I have gained a wide array of experiences worth blogging about. I admit I started this whole blogging experience back when I was a novice and single and simpleminded. I wanted to have an avenue to express my desire to then have a genuine and lasting relationship. Met some which caught my fancies and from there my blog went i into different themes and topics. After ten years now I am married with a 9yr old child, much wiser and experienced in the way I see the world. Yes I now view the world not in rose colored lenses but way brighter. I don’t know what’s with tattoo nowadays that many people are getting to be fanatics of body tattoo art. It is now very acceptable to place a tattoo because its defined as “self expression” or watchamacallit “for the sake of art”. Honestly, I find it beautiful specially after watching Miami Ink and LA Ink on Cable TV. But I still want to be able to donate blood to those in need so I choose not to have a tattoo. Last week, I had the chance to have henna painted on my ankle and it was beautiful. I just want to share it. My husband and I went to Bulacan 8 Waves to swim and there was a booth that offers henna tattoo for just less than 200 bucks. It’s an opportunity for me to exercise specially now that I’m pregnant; swimming is the best form of exercise for my condition. After almost whole day of swimming, we decided to have henna painted on our bodies and we had fun admiring the painting. So this is art? Not because I'm forever answering that question since I got married last month but I finally got the inspiration to write again. I love my new blog theme because it describes what I really feel now. They say marriage is settling down and yes I have finally settled down and welcomed God's gift of marriage. It is more of a retreat for me. Retreat from the dog and cat chase after being single for 31 years! It's a retreat away from the world of searching because I have finally come home with my husband John. That is exactly how I describe it when coming into God's presence; it is "my secret place". The world cannot take that away from me- it is personal, yet dynamic and growing.
